Talking 2.2 dti turbo boost gauge

toying with the idea of fitting a boost gauge had a look to see what i can find out, wich gauge ect. 30 psi is that right? also that ill have to tap into the big black rubber pipe on the right hand side going into the throttle body is this the only place as id probably have to replace the whole pipe and put a metal piece with a nipple in somehow ??

I can see where you are going with this one.It does seem to be the better alternative for obvious reasons, however, you might just get a more accurate reading,as the metal pipe section where you are taking it from, wouldn't be under any type of distortion from pressure.....yes??????.FELIXX.

i would think so, i was more worried if i just put a nipple in the standard rubber tube it would poss split?? i was wondering if i could tap into the plastic pipe just below the rubber one??
