    Default Springs

i need to change my rear springs as there rock solid and make the ride terrible!!

im wondering whether i should change to the eibach Pros would they give it a nice ride and if i did that would i need to change the shocks ?

or could i just change to the SRi springs ?

it passed its MOT a month ago and it was checked over by my local garage about a fortnight ago in which they checked front and rear suspension and steering rack.

Does it have or has it had a towbar fitted? That doesn't look right at all tbh. Reason I ask if it has a towbar is that a previous owner may have fitted heavy duty rear springs

nah no tow bar and that's the thing that I don't get. when I brought the car it was from a private dealership who had it MOT'd for me when I brought it and it failed on the rear springs and they got replaced.

Only a seized shock would hold a car up like that unless as John said it has had a towing mod. Is there any rubber in between the coils?

Could the springs have been put in upside down? Press down hard on each corner, it should rise, fall and settle.
