    Default CD70 navi fault

    I have a 2005 signum with a cd70 navi I had to recently replace the EGR valve and during this had disconnected the battery now everything is connected again it all works bar the navi the radio and audio cd work fine but the navi is just saying invalid disk or no disk I've tried putting the language disk in but it doesnt do anything after that then refuses to eject the disk until I turn off ignition and then redraft engine any advice???

    Tried a cd lens cleaner?

    'Invalid disk' indicates a disk error, or that the disc cannot be read. Happened to me when I put an Audio CD in the SatNav slot on my CD70 by mistake'

    As suggested, you could try a lens cleaner.

    It is just dirty.

    To do it properly, you could take out the Navi CD drive (loader), and clean it with a cotton bud... works 1000 times better than a feeble CD lens cleaner cd...

    I used to have this with the Audio CD drive... there is a long thread about this somewhere from approx 1 year ago.
    In the end, I cleaned the laser lens with a cotton-bud... total success
    It is still working spot on now
