    Default removing brake hoses

    hi

when removing brake hoses, do you unscrew the union nut on the brake line first? then remove hose

or do you take retaining clip off first?

and how does retaining clip come off?

anyone done this when going to upgraded brake hoses?

    thanks in advance

Just a quick tip to stop the brake reservoir emtying itself, fill the reservoir as full as you can get it then stretch a pastic bag tight over the top and hold it on with a tight elastic band this will stop any air getting in and stop the flow of fluid out of the open brake pipe end, you will loose a little fluid but not as much as leaving the top open.
