Door cards

i have a elite and dont like the fake wood trim look i have painted the front strip on the dash piano black and looks good but the ones on the door cars i can not get off are they hot spotted in to place or can the be taken out cheers

Loads of plastic rivets hold them on, if you take the door card off you can break off the rivet heads and then glue the trim back in place when finished refurbing them.

just grind off the melted over bits or cut them off and bond them back on done it a few times on my other cars

have a search and you will find a few threads about it mate
