    Default Hid check?

    Sorry to post another thread about hids guys but I just wanted to check, iv got a h7 set of hids that I had on my previous car and they were great, I just wondered wheter these will be a straight fit onto my 06 vectra Sri, or do I need a canbus compatible set? I don't fancy having a warning light on all the time!!

    Also could anyone tell me if I buy a debadged grill for my vectra does it have to be for a facelift or will the prefacelift fit to?

    i think you will need a canbus set if you just want plug and play, if not you should be able to use them if you have the xenon lights changed in the UEC, this also stops any strobing that might happen after the lights are off

    The hids will fit and work, but you will need to buy a pair of cancellers to prevent dashboard warnings. About a tenner for a pair off ebay.
