Have a word with Mark at Autobrite who is a retailer on here. I have one of these and I use the 3M Pads and use there matching compounds / polishes. Meguiars also do a great range of pads and polishes etc.

You might also check www.CleanYourCar .co.uk. as well as about everything you need they have their own detailing forum.
Pads are a matter of personal choice. Messsy, who showed me how to detail mine, uses sonus, but recommended I use Chemical Guys hexologic. have hear Lake Country are ok as well.
I prefer Meguiars polishes etc, but that also is personal preference. Read on the pads description, some are for light swirls, some heavy scratches, some polishing/glazes, then work out what your paintwork will need - and always, always, start with the lightest polish and pad, then, if needed, go one step down at a time. Never, ever, start with the roughest. I've also bought a snow foam lance for my pressure washer, £39.99 on offer at CYC or Autobrite at present.

Well I have chemical guys polish so I have that and it says for machine polishes. What I mean is what will the polisher come with ie a backing plate which u use Velcro pads for or what? Is normal masking tape ok or do I need the blue tape?

I don't know anyone that uses the blue tape, as far as I know, it masking tape for any areas you don't want polished.
As for backing pads, depends where you bought it from, CYVC supply with one, I bought an extra, and will probably get the small size as well at some stage. The DAS6 's I've seen )including mine) use velcro to connect the pad to the backing.
I once thought you had to use "machine polish" but was told here the AG SRP and most others can be applied by hand or DA.

Mine came "supplied with two Velcro Backing Plates Size: 125mm ( 5” ) and 150mm (6"), for 5", 6" and 6.5" polsihing pads. Think the small spot detail ones are 4 inch. I went with the DAS6 Pro, as the longer lead looked easier, and a bigger motor can't be bad.
