    Default Adding a sub to the standard hu

    Has anybody added a sub and amp or can it be done, would like to keep the standard HU, want to power the amp from the head unit

    hmm i would be interested in this as well. I would of liked to have kept the standard head unit when i put mine in but i was under the impression that you would have to have a seperate headunit to supply the AUX cables to the amp?

    no all wrong iv got the cd70 with sub on it and she loud as all you need is this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/High-Low-Car-A...602ae0ffbe4e3a and there you go lol

    i did this to, its easy just take a splice out of one of the speaker cables at back of the head unit, get an autoleads pc 106 from halfords, this converts the speaker wires into an aux socket then wire up as normal taking the remote feed from ciggy lighter

    Did mine today just used scotch locks and it sounds wicked on a ncdc 2013
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    oh rite lol would i be able to get an ipod connection too, my alpine one is built for ipod and i use it all the time, also what wires do you connect that box thing to lol

    yep use both speakers its lot better....iv got a switch for mine as i dont do bass at 4am lol

    there thing in argos book bout £20 plug your phone ipod anything and it works off the radio. as i dont do ipods i dont know anymore soz
