    Default Mas Performance remap

Went to Mas Performance today for the DPF removal. EGR disabling and remap on my Signum CDTI 150.
First job remove the DPF and make a replacement through pipe and fit. Had a look at the DPF, you can see why they can become a big problem, Black bright!
First RR run- 145 BHP - 341.1NM as standard
So Ben downloaded the map and another run, now were talking -180 BHP -402.1NM.

How does the Sig' drive now? Well throttle response is excellent no more hesitation around 1000rpm, the turbo pics up very smoothly and before you know it you knocking 70mph with power all the way. The important bit, i can now pull out of a junction without wondering if im going to need to dip the clutch to get the turbo to pull me away from that bogging. I also noticed the Sig will sit and drive nicely now just above 1000rpm doing 30ish in 5th and will pick up nicely without dropping a gear from 4th at the foot of a hill, like before!

So far so good. im well happy, cars driving how it should, i dont need to worry anymore about all the ****e clogging up the Boost valve, swirl flaps, or the EGR and all being well should get better MPG. Nice one! cheers Ben!

Well sound like very reasonable figures and the graphs look correct. You actually have a little more torque than me at 2000rpm

Hi, i have just removed my DPF and taken all the insides out so it is empty... refitted the same and car runs so much better pulls from low down no problem and smoother i could feel the difference straight away , going to wait n see if car trys to regen it shouldn,t but if it does will just get DPF removed from ecu ..

Your car will def go through a regen in te next 400miles and once it does it will go into emergency regen as the dpf will not get up to correct temp this will kill your fuel economy and have a White smoke screen ffrom the back if your car I know as it's happened to me i used to reset the dpf saturation readings on opcom every 200 mile but still caught me out now and then so I swiftly went to Mas to get a map and dpf software removed.

    Hope this helps mate
