    Default code scan results

    morning chaps, just received my u480 scanner and used it coz the e/management light was on, the code result s are:- P1405 which i cannot identify in the hand book and p0036 which is BANK 1 SENSOR 2 HEATER CIRCUIT, any ideas where it is on the engine and cost to replace? thanks keith,
    oh and the light is now out and car runs fine

    They might of been old codes, if lights out now and cars running fine I would clear codes then run it for a few days and check codes again

    P1405 is Exhaust gas recirculation valve Feedback signal malfunction
    Which is about as much as i can tell you on this one without reading up on it .
    Enter p1405 in to the search items tag on here and see what comes up from other people,s posts .
    Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years

    I had p0036 it was no 2 O2 snsr heater circuit broke down ,to check it use a multi meter to check for continuity on the 2 white wires ,mine had none , a new snsr cost me £40 ish from car parts connection (genuine part) the snsr is in the exhaust just after the cat I kept clearing mine but it came back on every day after about 10 miles

    thanks guys, i`ve done 60 odd miles and all seems well, so far, so i`ll keep on going and if the fault code reappears i`ll replace the sensor, thanks again.
