    Default AA Garage bill cover

Has anybody got this cover for their vec?

Have been quoted £74.20 for the year.

I thought this was a good price for my 57 vec with 40k

if i broke a spring it would prob be more than £70 for it.

I'm mainly thinking of this as my vec is not always starting first time everytime and if its the battery or / and starter motor then at least im covered for both of that with the AA cover.

Any feed back or thoughts of the cover plan would be appreciated . cheers

    The AA

The aa cover is good for the cost-I've got it on mine and just had a thermostat replaced for free. The thing you have to remember is that it's breakdown cover-so your car had to actually break down and the aa be called before you can claim on it-definitely better than nothing though!

Depends on your luck when you brake down, a Friend had this cover and broke down 2 weeks ago one of the sprak plugs exited the cylinder head taking all the threads with it.

AA patro guy put is down as faulty cylinder head, car got towed to there approved repairer whe promptly phoned the owner saying that the AA had refused to cover the cost of the repair £ 375 .

Owner then, collected car and got it helli coiled for £50

Yep I'd say luck is a big part, they replaced my thermostat but noticed a hose was knackered as they did it so I ended up paying for that anyway lol (am going to try to claim the cost back though), so basically a lot of the things they say it covers will never actually cause you to break down and be able to make a claim anyway :-(
