Default What order to do it in.

    Sorry very new to this.

I am getting myself a little confused with the order to do this in. From what I read on here, there seems to be many different orders of cleaning. Can someone tell me the right order.

Ill be using. Shampoo, Swirl x, Mags clay, Extra gloss polish.

    Am I right in saying:
    Rinse
    Wash 2 bucket method
    Swirl x
    Clay
    Wash
    Extra gloss polish.

Is this right? I have seen people clay then use swirl x, I cant see how swirl x would work after a clay as you have just put a layer of clay onto of the lacquer and that is where the swirl marks are? Or am I getting it all wrong.

    Any advice would be great.

Ok yep, I see how it works now. Clay gives you a nice glass like finish.

Yup. The clay removes all the bonded contaminants on the paint surface. Have you bought the megs clay yet? If not, dont buy it, get the Bilt Hamber clay, its half the price and uses only water as a lube.

I have not seen it in any shops, I bought mine off ebay, was here in a few days. I read on Detailing world, so many people running out of Lube/Quick detailer for the "fancy" clays when its so silly to waste money on lubes when BH uses only water. If you do go for the BH one, cut it into 4 equal pieces. This is just in case you were to accidentally drop the bar as its only fit for the bin in you do.

As already said, you now have the correct order.

They clay removes contaminants that normal washing doesn't. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the results of doing this. As DasAbrab said, cutting the clay into 3 or 4 pieces helps. Just remember, drop it = bin it. Look forward to seeing the finished result!
