reminds me of being in a Mcdonalds in Florida - every staff member was hispanic and a scotish family were trying to order breakfast. After several efforts they brought the girl from the drive through. She listened intently to the now irate scotsman try and order a simple breakfast of "seeyoujimmyillhaveasausageneggmcmuffinmealyak en ?"which I understood - but the staff couldnt. If id offered to translate i think they would have killed me. The girl said very slowly and very clearly - and Im not making this up... "Sir, does anyone in your party speak english?" I had to hold my nose not to laugh.
