p2279 error

i keep getting an error code p2279 on my mates vectra 1.9 cdti (120), does this relate to a general leak or is it turbo related

Sounds like you have a leak in your hose system , check all your hoses from the maf around through the intercooler to the turbo , just have some one rev the engine for you then look out for signs of a hose blowing should be evidence of oil also around any kind of split

2279 is normally dpf blocked or egr stuck open ....

2279-11 was a blocked DPF on mine...despite what the description is....
