Everybody uses millers but i dont. I use reddex, always have and swear by it. run your tank well into the red, whack in a small bottle (the 2 tank bottle) run it until the fuel light is flashing then fill up

Its a standard size..the bottle is actually marked to allow you to 'accuratley' measure when you have poured half the bottle into a full tank of fuel.

So are you saying that you add it to a near empty tank of fuel?

I am a big fan of REDEX as well, when I first got this VEC it had a tick over problem and did not feel quite right,REDEX sorted this out, I use it quite regular, BUT I use it as directed on the bottle, one measure for 10 galls, I would be worried to use it as directed above.

I was advised to do it this way by a mechanic as it will clean the injectors quicker due to the higher concentration. even with the low fuel level it is still quite diluted

I've heard that too, and don't think it'll do any damage at all. I use redex maybe 4 times a year on my v6 and think it can only help.

go your own way mate, its just somthing I would not do, years ago yes,, but things move on, redex is highly concentrated now, one measure does 10 galls, so why use more?
