OIL LEAK - Getting worse, any ideas???

Hi, its a 2.2Direct SRI Vectra (56).

It always had a minor oil leak since I bought it, started off just a couple of drops every now and again, but recently its leaving a lot more on my drive!

I've had a look as best i can and it seems to be coming from near the top at the left hand side of the engine as you look at it - dripping onto the auxillary belt which is flicking it everywhere

I just wondered if anyone had an idea as to what might be the problem and if so, how big the job is to fix it.?

I keep checking the levels and it was a bit low so topped it up the other day.

I have the same problem, It is in the garage at the moment and they have told me it is leaking from the oil filter and can be solved with a good service and a little bit of TLC

The location you've described is near to where the oil vent hose exits the cam cover, so check that. It's on the back of the cam cover on the left hand side I believe.
