Default Can anyone shed any light on this

It may be my imagination so be gentle with me.

OK start the car (1.9 CDTi 150) from overnight cold. remove from garage and ease out of the drive. First time and a gentle acceleration, the car leaps forward but then seems to back off after about 1 second????

In all other respects the car drives perfectly fine with no issues of any kind

i think its just they are cold and ecu limits power to preserve engine life.......do you have the correct grade oil in there........thick oil wont get round when cold

Vehicle : Vectra and a Signum

Trim : top of the line in both

    Engine : Z18XE,Z19DTH,Z20NET

i am guessing but i would say it just something that sticks until the oil frees it up or like the butterfly valve in the throttlebody getting a little gammy... had this on an old toyota pickup my mate and i used to drive for a job we did donkeys years ago, in that case we cleaned the the butterfly and it did the trick, but it was filthy and very badly treated motor

when it warmed up it was never a bother before hand
My old Signum, the animal; she now rests in pieces in several other members cars.. https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/garag...vehicle&id=200
