    Default Half-leather interior swapped+problem

    Hey every1

Finally while the weather allows I took a few pics of my new half-leather seats and door cards after swapping. I am very satisfied, car looks very decently and more luxurious.

However a few days ago one problem occured. Passenger seat's back (former driver's seat-it's from an english version) started to creak when somebody sits on it in very annoying way.
Anybody had the same problem and knows the solution how to get rid if this?

    Thanks in advance!

Wow that looks awesome. Did you swap the seats out or pay to have them half trimmed?

Mine creaked, I remember reading on here that if the seat is set as low as it can go on the hight adjuster then it can cause creaking, so just lift it up slightly and it stops. It worked for me so may be worth a try

The other thing todo is to strip the seat and grease all of the metal supports in the back and base.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Thanks, anyway I'm affraid this could not work. When you push the back of seat then you can hear it creaking, so there's a problem I think. But I can't give any opinion unless I try.

That's a harder topic but this may be the only solution. I wouldn't like to do this myself, I think I'm gonna have to take my car to garage. The question is how much would that be...
    Thanks mate

there are some little palstic bits whcih are located on the runner/base whcih go missing when you change interiors over. the seats usually rock slightly when they are missing

Peter Griffin: Ah, c'mon, Lois, isn't 'bribe' just another word for 'love'?

You may be right, I have some little plastic elements remained after conversion. I thought it's pointless but now I need to find out where they should be located. Thanks
