    Default Headlight adjustment dial

Since fitting my HiD's on saturday, it appears I can no longer adjust my headlights up and down from the dial inside the car. They do not seem to move at all.

I am wondering if I have knocked a lead out. If so, can someone please tell me where it is and what it looks like. A photo would be awesome.

Also, how does it work? I am assuming it does not move the bulb but just changes the reflection in some way.

    Cheers in advance.

The motor sits inside each light, on prefaces its in a recess in the dipped beam section, on facelifts, it's behind the middle cover.

It twists out like a bulb (bayonet style fitting) then you have to angle it slightly to slide the ball out of the socket that moves the light in and out you can then remove the motor and unplug it. Refitting is reversal of the above.

Just had a look and I cant see where this motor is? Is it inside the dipped beam cover for a pre face lift? Or is it attached to the unit?

Actually thinking about it, that may be my memory failing, on the preface I think they're at the bottom behind the larger hard plastic cover.

If you still cant find it, I'll try and take some pics later.

Obviously the ball joint points into the headlight so you see the back end of it (a flat squarish block) with a wire coming out of it. Grab it and twist like a bulb (carefully).

Have tried to take a couple of pics but it's pitch black outside, not sure if this helps or not, its the block in this picture (have already removed the larger plastic cover at this point). This is the passenger side one looking down from above.
