    Default Utterly Stunned!

    Im sorry, I really cannot get past this so feel i have to share as my partner is sick of hearing it........

    My daily commute
    30 limit for about a mile
    60 limit for about 2 miles
    40 limit for 1/2 mile
    60 limit for 5 miles
    50 limit for 7 miles
    30 limit for 3 miles

    Average MPG :

    Vauxhall Insignia Elite 1.8 vvt 25.6mpg

    Vauxhall Vectra 2.8 VXR AUTO 27.6mpg!

    ????????

    Im sorry, £425 tax is fine by me, if this is the economy im going to get along with the fun! Utterly Stunned!

    thats not so bad is it Im impressed but whats it like hammering the fun pedal?

    Thats whats happens when they put a small engine in a large heavy car though.

    has what 140 bhp and prob about 180 fl lbs trq the 1.8. Thats a hell of a barge to drag around with so little power.

    i found that with the vectra b, had 1.8, 2x 2.0 and then finally a 2.5 v6 gsi, and the gsi was easily the best on fuel

    Well, I am a responsible driver, so wouldnt know
    Although when I had sport button on all day saturday we visited BP twice............. ahem

    there are some things that should be done alone!!!! visiting BP is one of them you dont want him moaning about that lol

    I havent done an exact test yet... but

    If I drive for miles and miles at 80 mph in the 1.2 Fiat 500 Sport, and do the same in the VXR I get about 10 mpg difference between the two

    So, either way very close at motorway speeds take your pick..

    God your telling me!
    Although he has smacked the front of our Corsa Sxi and knocked a fog out so he hasnt mentioned anything about cars since the weekend! lol
