    Default Mpg

    Has anybody with a dti noticed a difference in the mpg when using a panel AIR FILTER air box de-ristriction?????? Mine seems to have droped to about 40mpg from about 46 - 48mpg. Thanks all.

    Funny you should say this as the "Vectaru" used to give high 40's all the time before the airbox mod and K&N panel filter but now gives low 40's most of the time BUT it has improved on long runs upto low to mid 50's

    Personally i think it is because Mrs D drives it like a chav in a Nova and races anything that gets close to her !!!!!

    Also it did give us an extra 17 BHP which is fine by me !!!

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

    Possibly the difference is down to your right foot and nothing to do with the car at all.

    It's amazing how adding performance parts to a car will get a corresponding increase in fuel consumption.
