    Default Gutted ... suspension

Well I have a broken rear spring, Vauxhall quoted me £260 to replace rear springs (both) obviously this appears on the expensive side, I spoke to kwik-fit (I know I don't trust them either) they quote £60 each corner. Thing is can I get away with just one being fitted or could this cause issues?

Ideally I wanted a set of eibach's but money is tight GUTTED

Ps got MOT in 3 weeks so I can't really save up enough for eibachs before then

Springs shold really only ever be replaced in pairs, although if your planning to change to Eibachs shortly then just get the one side done imo.

there is no legal requirement to replace a BOTH springs BUT if one has failed the other has no doubtly travelled a very similar route and you have to ask the question if its upto the job ..... money may be tight but a set Of Eibachs will still be cheaper than a pair of Vx springs = you can get the set of Eibachs fit the rear pair you need now and when you have a little more then fit the fronts - rears you can even do yourself

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

Good idea mate, think I will get a set of eibachs then just get them to fit rears until after MOT. Probably be £40 to fit them plus £150 for springs.
