Just A Quick Question

Been meaning to ask this for ages but one of them things which was never important & always forgot but I'm sitting here bored & just remembered.
So, should rear wiper wipe if fonts are on & reverse is selected, our old Corsa did & was suprised when our Vec didn't or is it a function which needs activating by Tech2.
My Vec's quite spec'd up being a 52 plate SRI, has kerb lights, auto wipers & mirror but can't seem to toggle between single or all door opening which I understand isn't too uncommon but was quite suprised at rear wiper not going when reverse selected.

My rear wiper comes on when fronts are on auto and in reverse, thats on a 53 plate sri

yip as rushy said it has to be on auto to work great feature imo

Mine rear wiper works if fronts are on and reverse selected too. ('54 plate Full Canbus version.)

I havent got the auto setting but mine works when i stick it in reverse 05 plate SXi

Is "auto" disengaged if ignition gets switched off?
That's another thing I've never followed & what does the wheel on the stalk adjust, is it how sensitive to rain the sensor is?

All switched items revert to off when ignition is off. And yes thats what the wheel is for mate.

Lots of cars do that now and some very old ones, my ex's Fiat 127 used to do it....

Anyone seen them flashing yet? Flash when the ABS comes in! Looked really smart on the rental when I let Shaz have a go around Sainsbury's car park!!

By the way, my rear wiper comes on when reverse selected and the wipers in any position.
