Another Spanner light problem

Hi all, hope you can give me abit of guidance.
1.9 8v TDCI SRI 55 Plate

Yesterday after been parked awhile the car stalled as I reversed out of a space. Later I took it for a spin and noticed abit of a lack of power for a couple of seconds at the most then it picked up again with no problems or lights.

I went to petrol station today and filled up and put some redex in thinking fuel lines might be abit dirty. After driving it for a mile the spanner light came on. I pulled over switched off the car and it went off. Wife suggested taking it for a drive to see if it was just dirt. After approx another 5 mile it came on again and went straight off. Its been for a good 30 mile spin today and the spanner coming on and off randomly I couldnt find what made it come on or any particular revs etc.

The car is booked in Wednesday for an MOT and a new flex to be fitted on the downpipe as the current one has a split in it.

Could the problem be pressure lost on the exhaust making a sensor come on? Could it be redex?

The car has only felt underpowered once today after setting off from some traffic lights but other then that it was fine.

Any Ideas? It has been serviced in October and filters changed etc.

it could be ? the lack of back pressure on a sensor throwing up a code when the zorst flexes ??

I thought that but the hole has been there since october and i just havent had the spare cash/time off work to have it booked into a garage to be repaired.

the car drives fine even when the spanner light is on, im just thinking that the redex has maybe set off or interfered with a sensor. But after 1 mile?? I must admit I am a pain for letting the diesel get low wonder if I have picked up some rubbish out the tank?

Ill pop over to the help forum see if theres a how 2 on changing the filter.

Any body else?
