    Default Alloy Wheel clean up.

Was going to do a "Whats in the Box" type thread but it was a bit of a give away. Anyway picked up a set of GSi alloys this week and they don't look like they've been off the car for a clean ever.

Wheels and tyres sprayed with Daisy APC at 4:1 and agitated with a detailing brush, then reapplied straight to shift the really stubborn stuff. People get really hung up on brand names, myself included, but I really cant stress how good Daisy is an APC, and all for 47p a bottle. Wheels then rinsed thoroughly then left to dry.
Wheels now cleaned inside and out using AG Paint Restorer, AG SRP then a coat of Megs #16. Tyres dressed using Megs Endurance Tyre Gel. The wheels are not in mint condition but are more than passable.

Tesco's, APC just means All Purpose Cleaner. Dilute it down for different applications. 4:1 for normal wheel cleaning, 10:1 for door shuts and inside wheel arches, 20:1 for pre washing lower areas of the bodywork. Think of it along the lines of AutoSmarts G101.
