Washed the vec today

Finally got round to giving the vec a good wash took 5 hours but the finish is the best its been, its like a mirror!

steps i took were:

1. Hosed down
2. wheels cleaned with Dodo Juice wheel cleaner
3. Washed using Autoglym shampoo with wash mitt and 2 bucket method
4. Clayed using Bilt Hamber soft clay and Dodo Juice Born slippy
5. Zaino duel action paint cleaner/swirl remover
6. Autoglym super resin polish
7. Chemical Guys Wet butter wax
8. Plastic trim cleaned
9. Tyres dressed
10. windows cleaned
11. chrome polished
12. Engine bay cleaned and polshed

that engine bay just got me excited! vinyl or paint? and have you had any issues with heatsoak? got a green cotton filter was gonna shove on but not got round to it looking good all over! Tidy

cheers mate its painted took a while to do as took my time and made sure the prep was spot on, had different variations with the engine bay did vinyl wrap all my engine in carbon but took it off due to the heat unstuck bits,

it wasn't too bad on the battery cover, just on the engine covers on the edges it a started to peel, as for the air filter i havent had a problem with heat soak mate.

cheers mate, no mate i painted all the engine bits, just waiting to get some silicone hoses to finish it off

Mine has that big cover that covers the whole engine bay, if it was any bigger it would stick out the bonnet lol
