Getting a bit of black smoke recently under heavy acceleration.

i put diesel magic in the fuel tank of the wifes tdci fiesta and it made a noticeable difference, virtually eliminated the smoke and just feels much smoother to drive (as smooth as a car with 179k miles can be anyway).
    hth.

Give this stuff a whirl.....looking at the spec list it looks pretty good, and Millers is a trusted company:

    Thanks Guys

Funny you should mention the filter.I will be putting a new one in next week, along with Redex or similar as well as doing the drop links and anti roll bar bushes.

    Roll on next weekend.

    Phew!

I was half expecting to create uproar with that!!

In the past I have used redex diesel and just put however much it says with a full tank. Smokes more for a bit then tails off.

Keep on meaning to try 10k boost but not sure about it. Anybody got any reviews??

I've used Diesel Magic in the past, in the Omega TD. I used to replace the filter (fuel) but fill up with Diesel Magic first. This used to clean up things quicker, smoked a little at first but then good. Not sure about this method in the CDTi engine though, what about the DPF?
