My Radio Will Not Turn Off CD30

I have had to disconnect my radio CD30 as it will not auto turn off when i turn engine off ,take keys out etc,

Could something be shorting somewhere ?

Two items..

1) Have you turned off ignition logic in the settings... ?
If yes, then you need to turn the ignition logic back on.

2) If the ignition logic is still on, then there is a common fault on some CD30's, which turn themselves on, or refuse to turn off, resulting in a flat battery..

Not sure if it is the radio or display... think it is the radio.

Only fix is to get a replacement radio !! - Sorry !

Fortunately there are loads on Flea-bay..

For info - the wiring to the CD30's is the same across the whole Vauxhall range... BUT and this is a big BUT

The screens for the Vectra-C and Signum are the only screens wired up correctly...Corsa c / D or Astra H screens will not work in a Vectra-C

So do not get a matched pair from e-bay, you need a divorced radio. Unless from a Vectra-C
