    Default Swirl valve bar off....

I have noticed my swirl bar is laying on the engine will it be ok to be driven until monday when i can get it to a garage?

What will my next step be to fix this? i just had it serviced and glow plugs were changed could it have been knocked off when they were doing this?

    Thanks
    john

It wont have been knocked off during the service or when changing the glow plugs. A new inlet manifold is the best fix and ive seen then on ebay for around £170 delivered, if you cant fit it yourself then labour costs on top of that.
Try the £1 (HOW2) repair using tap washers, i did it with mine and its worked a treat and pushing on for 5000 miles now and still hasnt moved, its pretty easy to do..
If its under warranty they probably wont do it under that, its a common fault but they will try and get you to pay if they can..

Should be covered under warranty. Just tell them car feels sluggish and you have noticed the bar off. I would be trying to get it done asap as you don't want to be footing the bill. I wouldn't say it's wear and tear

It's not wear and tear, it's bad design by Fiat. Should definitely be covered by the warranty. Manifolds aren't supposed to wear out with age...
