    my steinbauer box arrived today

    just wondering how hard are they to fit ?

    easy mate just dont put it on ten go up in stages otherwise you will be smokein everyone out lol
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    Where did you get it at , is there no fitting instructions with it

    ther is 3 wires to cutand join i think or is it two its a bit since i put mine on my old car

    ive already downloaded the instructions from the steinbauer website.

    He asked about a steinbauer box, please don't give folk false information if you have never owned one it could cost them alot of money

    Anyway mate, as you will see from the steinbauer instructions (when they e-mail them to you) that there are three connections to be made. DO NOT CUT AND JOIN ANY WIRES

    One wire (the single long wire with the insulation) goes to the diesel pump. To get better access your gonna have to remove the EGR valve (good time to give it a clean) and you will see the top of the diesel pump. You will have to remover the plastic covering and you will see 2 wires going to the pump. I can't remember if it's the front or the back one you have to solder the wire to but it will tell you in the instructions.

    Then there are two to go to the -ve and +ve of the battery, simply take the nut off of the battery terminal clamp and put the eyelet connector onto the bolt and put the nut back on

    There is a fourth wire that can be wired with a switch to earth to turn the box off.

    If steinbauer haven't sent you an e-mail with the instructions by tonight, give me a shout and I can forward a set of instructions via e-mail

    steinbauer have sent em the instructions mate ive got a picture of the wires from the box



    also you know the Dil settings what have you got yours on it came with 1,2 and 4 on and 3 was off

    the picture isn't great but you can see what i mean about the positions of the switches
