    Vehicle : Vectra C estate

    Trim : SRI

    Engine : Z19DTH

    Year : 2008

    Mileage : 79000

    Default clocks question

all the digits on my mileage have for some reason distorted, looks like bits of the digits are missing.

After looking on ebay for some replacement clocks, some say they have been tech 2 cleared, and others dont. Do they have to be tech 2 cleared? also how would i get the mileage adjusted to what it should be?

    cheers for any advice

As far as I know, the unit will have to be Tech2'd to set it to the correct mileage.

Undoubtably VX will charge a fortune...

Maybe someone on here could do it for you.

Clocks do not require tech2 , tech2 can only adjust mileage on new or refurbished clocks. you would need to get the mileage corrected by a mileage correction company unless you can buy a 2nd hand set with same mileage as your on.
