Default Removing cat and centre silencer

would there be any reason not to remove either, i personally dont know of any but not sure if anyone else new anything more and is it illegal to remove the diesel cat?

also do you think it is worth doing for a little bit of cheap and easy power on a standard 1.9 150, it should cos me much if anything as my grandad is a welder so can get him to weld some pipe in place until i can get the money to have a full system fitted

    looking at this mod.
you don't need a cat to get a t/d through an mot, they just have a smoke test which the cat doesn't contribute to.

lol gotta love a bit of turbo sound, tbh ill probably take the whole lot off and see if my grandad can do sometyhing with the precat too even if its just cutting it openn and taking the material inside out. when ive finished paying my dad back what i owe him for the car im gonna get a custom exhaust place in essx that i know of to do me a system, turbo back with only little silncer at max for a little bit of back pressure and then have twin exit with no backboxes/ empty cans
