Default spare plug under headlight, whats it for?

changed the wing on my preface vec c today, took out the headlight to make it a bit easier to work, and noticed a spare plug, with 2 wires, brown and red/something, what would this be for? fog lights as mine doesnt have them?
ifso what would you need to do to get them working, i assume it isnt as simple as plugging some in lol

i only saw the 1 plug under the headlight on drivers side, but assume there would be one on the other side too if foglights?

If the car has a single tone horn, then it's probably the wiring harness for a second horn..ie. a twin tone setup..if colours are Brown with Red Tracer & Plain Brown...The other side harness - same colours - is connected to the single tone horn on the nearside, below & behind the headlamp....

Got this on our 55 reg Facelift Club Spec car...which only has a single tone horn fitted....

I've got the bits to convert it to twin tone when the weather gets a bit warmer...Also got wiring harnesses for front fog lights fitted - but no fogs fitted - got the bits to do this also...but beware....

The foglight upgrade could be a little more involved...do a Search - Front Fog Lights.. lots of posts/threads...

    Cheers
