    Default What Hids

    Im interested in buying a set of hids off of hids direct but im unsure which 1's to get

    do i go for the 50w or the 35w and what colour?

    Help please

    I've got the 35w 5000k.They're fine,I had the 6000k which has a hint of blue,but I wanted the more OEM look.Regarding the 50w,if you rate the system in the same way you do normal electric bulbs,then they are that little bit brighter,but,and here's the whammy,some research states that they don't last as long because they are operating at a brighter level.IMHO,I think the 35w are bright enough.Lets face it,bicycle lights are brighter,when compared to the Vectra's lights!!!. FELIXX.

    I went with the 50W 4300K which is factory xenon (for most manufacturer's) spec. I am over the moon with the ability to actually see at night now so to me it is a no brainer.

    The difference in the 50W and 35W is obviously a bit of brightness, but also the 50W gets a lot hotter, for this reason alone I went for the 35W. I doubt the heat will actually make much difference but did not think it was worth chancing.

    35w 8000k in mine
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info
