Default How to open just the drivers window

Dont know if this works on the facelift models, but it works on pre facelift. To open just the drivers windows using the key fob, first press and hold the lock key, then keep your finger on the unlock key, so both buttons are being pressed at the same time. It should then unlock the car and open the drivers window. useful if you dont want all the windows open using the standard method.

Hands up who knew this one before Elite2.2DTi posted it...

Just tried it today on my MY03, and it works exactly as Elite2.2DTi described.

I thought I knew just about all the clever tricks that this car could play, but this one is new to me. You learn something every day...

Why would you want to have this function though?

I would rather have something like full closure when I lock it, which incidentally
    mine does not have

You don't have full closure? All Vec Cs have full closure I thought? Are you holding down the lock button on the fob after the car has locked?

And yes, the drivers only window open thingy isn't a feature I think I'll be using much - but it's always fun to discover these extra 'features'
