leaking water, driver's floor ?

need help with a water leak, driver's side floor keeps getting wet, have cheacked the drain for leaves, water coming through somewhere ?

have you lifted bonnet, removed rubber strip and poked something throught the drain hole? Its about afoot below windscreen at back of engine compartment under wiper linkage? Really sorry if this is obvious, not being patronising but thought i'd check, just in case. The hole can be blocked with black sludge. My passenger side didnt look blocked until i stuck stick through it.

And the one on the drivers side....below the wiper mechanism.. far left.... difficult to see from outside the car....
