    Default Cambelts

    Hi,

Will a cambelt for a Y32SE Omega with the Vectra 3.2 engine? Reason I ask is most places only list the Omega???

Also, is it worth changing as a kit or just the belt?

My car is coming up to 72k miles and I am unsure as to whether its had a belt in its life (I got it on 56k miles).

    Thanks!

    Always buy the kit
Never swap or replace a used cambelt, once used never refit

Hi, doesn't make any difference if it's an Omega or a Vectra just check the engine numbers and the year of the car, have a look on the Autovaux website and you can check out part numbers.

Vectra C could have either Y32SE or Z32SE
Therefore check the engine code from the V5 or VIN check

Its basically the same engine, the y denotes a different emissions standard. So yes, they should be the same.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
