Default Can you re map a standard car

Hi i have a cdti 120 sri and thinking of having it mapped only as its used every day and 400 + miles a week so do not want to mess about with exhaust etc .
Would it be worth doing and who would people recommend to do the work

Turbocharged engines have more scope than normally aspirated engines tuning wise, so yes.

remap will give you a better outcome... tuning boxes are all good for a quick thrill - prolonged use will cause problems, unless you have a catch tank, blanked off egr, removed dpf (if required) & serviced as often as a subaru as long as the dmf is ok

It's cheaper to remap a standard car as you can just put a standard remap on the car. Some people mod their car, get it remapped and actually get less performance because they've needed a custom remap.
I know an induction is one of the only things that won't affect your car negatively performace wise after a remap as it's just increasing air intake, decat to this day I'm still in debate about due to hearing and reading so many different answers even from professionals.
As for best place to get your car remapped in norfolk I couldn't tell you
