Needed an expensive box of tricks to get the display to work when i made enquiries on this... even then i think its pretty limited on what it can actually display mate.

    Vehicle : Insignia Tourer

    Trim : Elite

    Engine : 2.0 CDTI (160ps)

    Year : 2010

    Default

Got it fitted on mine (IVA-W505R), combined steering wheel and display adaptor, cost me about £90

It depends which unit you've got there's a spreadsheet on the Alpine website I posted a link to it before, will see if I can dig it out again.

Edit: I posted a few pics of it working in my old ICE thread for my other car here http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=147

Edit 2: Here's the link to the display adaptor chart http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/...lity_Chart.pdf

That's the one I've got I think, it does both steering and display. I made an even more expensive mistake with mine, I bought the steering adaptor (£50) thinking I needed two seperate adaptors, ended up buying the combined one as well (£90). In fact if you just want steering controls and not display, you can have my old steering adaptor cheap as I've still got it lol

Edit: No, mine's the 1010P for half canbus.

Yours is a preface, are you sure it's full can? Some 2005 ones are, some aren't. What style steering controls do you have, buttons or scrollers? If it's buttons, the steering adaptor I have should work fine on your car.
