Better of with a Regal remap as they change the intervals and required parameters to when a regen needs doing.

Or you can use one for a few weeks, then remove it for a few days until you get a DPF regeneration.

The reason they are not good with DPF is that they don't allow regeneration, but if you remove it after a while, for a while, it's all good.

in addition to the above... tuning boxes cause over fuelling, which will clog the dpf causing problems in the long run "imo"

If your going with Mas for a map then you might swell get the dpf removed and mapped out too

1 you will get better performance and mpg
2 you will save yourself any future probs with dpf

    It's a win win situation

    Thumbs down

Thanks for all that. After reading so many posts i thought a tuning box might be risky but it probs works out cheaper in long run just to map it. First problem of buying a car with the mrs... had to be an auto with a dpf lol

tbh matey... the auto box is a decent box & far better than most in the class, atleast it ain't going to chew the dmf
the right remap will make a lot of difference

Dont get me wrong, the auto box is quite smooth and decent to drive in. But im struggling to adapt after selling my Octavia vRS which had 240bhp so hence the need for speed out of my vectra!

A remap will see nearly 190-200 bhp
