Yeah..........Easy enough to get to.....No Problem......Half a can of penetrating spray later and the B*****d still wont budge.Snapped the ratchet on the wrench, took some skin of the knuckles when i slipped, swore a bit, swore a bit more, told Jesus how i felt about the situation, sprayed on some more penetrating spray, huffed and puffed a little more... Had a nice little can of nelson and a muffin,Then gave up and washed the car .

Now sprayed both sides and will leave it to work its magic for a week.

    Happy Days

    Heya,
Just wondering what your using to crack them off? If your using your ratchet it may be the problem as you need the solid knuckle bar

A ratchet should never be used to crack off a torqued nut as it damages the mechanism and the freeplay inside it will take out some of the effort your putting in. Go out and but a 1/2 inch knuckle bar set if you dont already have one and use that. As said, get a hollow pipe or bar that can slide over the handle to give you more leverage

They should be tight but not a mega problem...

Haha thats brilliant! :P Lefty loosey, righty tighty

Its okay I've seen trained mechanics struggle on a nut wondering why its so damn tight then realising they have made the worst mistake in the trade lol... always worth a few beer fines :P
