Default Coilovers or Shocks & Springs????

After reading LOTS of different theads i cant see that many people using coilovers (is there a reason of have i missed them?) Now i am trying to decide what to do with my vectra as in handling / lowering wise as i know its never going to set the world on fire or be as nimble as a hot hatch but id like more feedback if possible.

So what would be your choice? Coilovers or Suspension Kit (Bilsteins as thats all id use)

If you can suggest them also then fire away

    Kev

I'd advise you get a good quality damper and spring kit Job done

I have KW Variant 2 Inox coilovers but they were very expensive and need professionally setting up for high speed stability, Corner weighting and Geometry

So unless you just want to dabble with the ride height for the way it looks, I'd suggest a good quality damper and spring kit

I have just recieved half my Bilstein B12 kit from Europerformance, The slight problem are the Eibach pro's that have arrived are technically correct 10-65-007-02-22 up to 1135kg for my 3.2 GSi which has the front axle rating of 1065kg.
The threads on here seem to suggest that the lower kit 01-22 up to 1060kg is a better choice.
I did think about the coilovers but the trolly jack ride that spoon's describes and all the setting up, not to mention the price, made me settle for the B12, which i know will be pretty much as good as it gets with minimal adjustment.

I've since raised the ride height on my coilovers and its much better on ride quality now... perfectly acceptable

I bought the B12 (B8 shortened dampers) from Europerformance £680 delivered! LMF quoted nearly £100 more.
I was tempted by the Weitec coilovers with fixed rate dampers.
