    Surely they will still strobe when they are not in use?

    I fitted normal LED 501's in mine had no strobing in them but just didn't like the light output even though they were fine as side lights (they are metal heat sink jacket proper ones) in my Saab the spread of light was way too narrow.

    There was no errors at all however as I don't think they are controlled by the canbus system?

    I have normal LED's inside my MG and the light is fantastic, the interior lights won't be controlled by CANBUS, as said above.

    any 501 will work in your interious mate as its not on the canbus sustem i have normal led in mine from halfords
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    So all of the interior 501 bulbs can be changed to LED's and all will work correctly???

    Yes. I have 4 x 24 led pannels, about half the length of a kitkat 2 finger each, in my dome. And they run off of the 501 sockets, pics upon request

    Also, I do love a kitkat
