    Default Farecla G3 cutting compound

    Could be in the wrong section but i thought people might be interested, halfords are now offering G3 cutting coumpound/wax etc on a 3 for 2, this stuff was mainly offered to the trade but now available to anyone, have heard its quite good.

    Saw that today. Surprised they've named it all G3 tbh as that makes me think of just one of their cutting compounds.

    Since I believe it is Meguiars who have taken over Farecla, they have aimed a retail section into the market. Farecla is best known for G3, which is probably why the range has been called that. Bad move IMHO as the original G3 is a dangerous product in the wrong hands (will kill paintwork quicker than 12 points removes a licence).

    I wouldn't mind betting it is based on Meg's formulae looking at the range thats available.

    I'd personally give it a miss Rob and look at a decent detailing supplier such as Autobrite and get some specific products for what you want, you won't be disappointed.
