good figures mate. need to get mine RR'd soon.

375ftlbs is alot of torque but aslong as you aint canning it constant or doing any hard launches it will be fine, maybe take a bit of life out the clutch but thats it.

no need for all the panic.

Hmmm.... That torque figure would be slipping your clutch all the time, I promise you. As for the power, the losses on that transmission at about 35bhp at 4000rpm unless you have serious issues, i.e. sticking brakes, bearing failure... So for 153 at the wheels, read 188bhp, exactly what you would expect from a remap. I suspect you hit 375NM, as I have had over 350lbft with two different clutches and engines and it just won't hold it. Have a look at the power at the point of peak torque (usually around 2500rpm). Power * 5252 / rpm = torque in lbft. Do a quick calculation and see what it says, I imagine the power at that point will be about 130bhp and the torque 270lbft.

Wow, nice increase in power. If its putting 153 to the wheels now, I wonder what it was putting at the wheels before ? Do you know by any chance ?

Sorry to intrude as I own the 2.0T but seems there is a lot of power loss between flywheel and wheel BHP on the figures above. Is that normal on this engine?

I had my 2.0T mapped with a blocked CAT and blowing gasket and recorded 181 at the wheels which im told is somewhere between 212 - 223bhp at the fly.

Just seems you guys have suffered a greater power loss through the transmitions and only wondering why that is.

I was big into derv tuning on the VAG seen, fabia VRS etc and you may want to watch your clutch with the additional trq, always an issue with these TRQ montsers lol
