    Default What is venting the oil to atmosphere?

    Can anyone point me in the right direction of what it is and how to do it, cheers

    Look in the How2 section under "DIY oil catch tank".It's a complete guide by Winnie.Quite a lot of the members have done the mod,together with the fiat semi blanking plate or the aluminum plate with an 8mm hole drilled in the middle.It stops the oil mist from the crank case combining with the soot from the exhaust gases.     Its not really something you need to worry about mate driving a 3.2. Its more of a preventative move for dirty CDTi's and there chocolate inlet manifolds.

    unfortunately i have sold my 3.2 and bought a 1.9, what was i thinking?!
