Unhappy Ride is so hard 2.2 sri

Hi guys I have recenty replaced sri shocks for b4, springs for standard one, 17s for new 16inch wheels and the ride is so hard even harder than on sri setup. I can feel almost every hole and on uneven road surface it is throwing you from side to side , up and down like there is no suspension and the car is following every bump on road. What else should i replace to get softer ride ? Possibly stiffer roll bar on sri? How much difference wil do replacing anti roll bar for 1.8 version? Thanks

Won't be an ARB issue, will be springs and shocks. I'd say go for an adjustable shock setup, then you've got the option to make it real spongy. Can also be the springs if they havent been installed correctly.

SRi setup is the same as GSi suspension right? I ended up replacing my standards for after market as it was TOO soft.

    Its probably your b4 shocks.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

When you say you've got "standard" shocks, you obviously mean they're standard height rather than shorter ones, but are they genuine GM ones or no-brand ebay/motor factor ones?

Original setup at beginning 1. Genuine sachs sri shocks and waux sri springs 2. Lately replaced with new bilstein B4 + apex lowering spring = nightmare ride 3. Now replaced apex for standard aftermarket springs+ 16inch wheels = small improvement but still a nigtmare comparing to my old astra. Are those B4 so much stiffer comparing to standard waux ones?
