    Default Been a busy morning.

As i'm off work on holiday for a week it was a good opportunity to get a few things done on the Veccie.
Saturday started with a trip to Carnoisseur in Bedford to get a piece of carbon effect vinyl and a couple of GSi badges made up to do the small engine cover in the centre of the engine. Turned out alright but will need to redo as the vinyl was a few mm short in width.
Today my top strut bolts turned up in the post to match the ones i have already changed on the engine, once again i've had to order ones slightly longer than the originals as they were the shortest ones available (M8 X 25mm, standards are M8 X 22mm). Pleased they are perfect because at £35 for six bolts and 10 washers it would have been an expensive waste if they weren't right.
Then it was a trip to Top Gear Racing in Aylesbury (Powerflow dealer) to get the front flexi in the exhaust changed due to being split. Price wise they were the cheapest i could find as prices were ranging from £95 at MIJ to £130 from Top Gear in St Albans, they done everything for 70 notes.
Just a few piccies of the bolts and engine cover added.

Yeah, the ali ones were the only ones that i could get anodized.
The stainless and titanium ones are not available anodized.

looks great fella, be careful with those bolts though, a friend of mine got some recently for his bike fairing he's had to drill two out already, where they rounded off too easy.

Thanks for the comments people, i know some people (i.e the old man) can't see the point in doing things like this but as far as i'm concerned the littlest things done can make an impression.

As for rounding them off Paul i've had no probs when fitting them. I learnt my lesson with my old RC cars, as long as when your fitting you use the right size socket/allen key and don't overtighten them then there shouldn't be a problem.
