Mudflaps

Thinking of getting mudflaps for the Vec are they easy enought to fit and will they fit ok on standard SXI skirts. (preface)

Watching a couple of sets on ebay at the moment that seem to be silly money. Think they're about £40 from dealers aren't they?

Want the standard VX ones not rubber onese.

Yep, the best place to go is the dealers mate.

The original mudflaps for the Vectra C are no longer available from dealerships
They now have an aftermarket range from the same moulding, the difference is they are no longer colour coded but in plain black
There is also an advisory they do NOT fit on the models with sills (SXi, SRi, etc)
However the issue is the front mudflap
The modification required is to simply cut the locating lug, to drill a hole in the sill (and a matching hole in the mudflap), and then use a self-tapping screw to fix firmly

i just bought Gen mudflaps for my club model - £15 total for both sets brand new from vauxhall parts connection

I've tried a few off car parts connexions, but they have all had no stock left - or they couldn't be bothered to post!
