Default £150 an ok price ?

Been quoted £150 by local dealer to change engine oil and filter and diesel filter, u guys think this is not bad? It is the v6 and they are using fully synthetic. The parts alone are about £100 ive been told.

Its about right for a main dealer, but expensive if its a indy or doing it yourself.

The trickiest part I've found is getting the oil filter housing off without the special tool VX use. I've found one online for 20 quid which I hope is coming today so I can change mine. Everything else I've tried hasn't done a thing and it's not like you can just hammer away at it...

Didnt national tyres do a oil and filter change

Maybe worth a look, they can also do your Fuel filter too.

I have to advise I didnt like the Customer Service I recieved, but thats not to say they are all bad, like the one in West Brom.
    Good Luck

I had them do one on mine last year - they couldn't get the filter housing off either, even with specialist tools. They also didn't realise to took 7.5 litres of oil, so charged me 40 quid for the oil change and left the filter in...
